What is the difference between mp3, wav, unlimited and exclusive rights purchase?MP3 LEASE: MP3 is the most compressed audio format. Beat components such as drums, melodies etc. are exported in the smallest size. Due to this compression, the quality of the beat is lowest. Also MP3 Lease is the most limited option. WAV LEASE: WAV is the uncomperessed audio format and files are larger than MP3 files. For example if a MP3 file is 5 MB, WAV file size would be around 50 MB. In this way the quality you hear also increases. UNLIMITED LEASE: The Unlimited Lease includes both MP3 and WAV files of the beat and allows for unlimited streaming. EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS: This plan involves the unlimited lease plan and the components (stems or trackouts) that make up the beat, such as all drums and melodies (in WAV format). If you need to change or edit something on the beat, you might choose this plan. The point is that you take all rights of the beat instead of leasing it. After your purchase, the beat will be unavailable for sale and lease to another person. Please check out our License Policy to know everything about licensing.

What happens if someone purchases exclusive rights after i buy a lease?Nothing changes for you. Leases never expire, but that doesn't mean you own the rights to the beat. Your license is still valid, as it was purchased before the exclusive rights were sold. Please check out our License Policy to know everything about licensing.

Can other artists use the same beat if i purchase a lease?Yes, others may use the same beat if you purchase a lease, but it will rarely affect the status of your song. If you purchase exclusive rights to the beat, others will not be able to purchase it again since I will delete the beat from everywhere. If you use my beats for non-profit purposes, your song may be removed after someone purchases the exclusive rights to the beat. Please check out our License Policy to know everything about licensing.

What about Mechanical Rights and Publishing Rights?Copyrights are divided into two main categories: Mechanical Rights and Publishing Rights. 1-) Mechanical Rights: These are the rights required for the sale of digital and physical copies such as online streams (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.), CDs, vinyl records, cassettes, records, and digital downloads. The revenue generated from these rights is shared in certain proportions. a-) In the Lease option: 100% to the producer, 0% to the artist. (Note: %100 is for United States and Canada sales. For sales outside the US and Canada, the royalty rate will follow the industry standard in that country at the time of this agreement.) b-) In the Exclusive Rights option: 50% to the producer, 50% to the artist. 2-) Publishing Rights: These are the rights related to the public or community performance of the song. Online streams (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.), concerts, radio broadcasts, plays in cinemas, or the use of the song in advertisements are included in these rights. The revenue generated from these rights is shared in certain proportions. a-) In the Lease option: 50% to the producer, 50% to the artist. b-) In the Exclusive Rights option: 50% to the producer, 50% to the artist. Why does the producer still receive 50% credit in Exclusive Rights? The contract takes into account the possibility that your song could have millions of streams, and both parties protect themselves in this way. Additionally, the 50% rate represents the producer's ownership rights. It also protects the producer from claims made by the artist regarding taking on the producer's role. Why i can't register my song with any content identification system if i purchase a lease? This is done to protect both you and other artists, as well as my channel. Some distribution companies and labels claim to own all the rights to the song and distribute it, even if you only purchased a lease. This is out of your control. For example, if a distribution company links your song to Youtube Content ID, other artists who lease the beat after you may have copyright problems. In addition, my channel may become unmonetized or closed due to copyright issues. If you do not comply with these conditions, our agreement will be canceled and your song will be taken down from all platforms automatically. Please check out our License Policy to know everything about licensing. For example, DistroKid has an extra service for register your song to Youtube Content ID. If you purchase a lease don't click the box.

Can i fit my song for Youtube monetization with the purchase of a lease?Yes, if your channel is eligible for monetization then you can monetize your video on YouTube within the licensing limits.
